What to expect after the surgery?
Feeling discomfort, pain, soreness and swelling is common after breast augmentation. You may feel this kind of discomfort for a couple of weeks after the surgery. You cannot resume to your daily chores right after the procedure because of soreness. Give it time to heal and then you will be allowed to do all the previous tasks.
However, while your are healing, you should wear a sports bra to support the breast placement. You will be getting a thorough instructions from your doctor, which needs to be followed until you get fully recovered. If you are seeing redness or discoloration on your breast, then you might have infection. In that situation, you should see your doctor immediately.
How long is the recovery process?
During the surgery the patient will obviously be under anaesthesia influence. And after the surgery is over, you will be given painkillers to lessen the pain. It is common for the doctor to give you sutures after the breast augmentation surgery, it usually dissolves or absorbed within 6 weeks. But if it doesn’t, you may need to fix another appointment with your surgeon.
Risks of mammoplasty
